It's probably apparent to all of you by now that I have majorly fallen behind in the challenge! I'm trying to play catch up! The options we had for Day 21 were Flames or Dots. I had really been planning to try some crazy awesome flames, but I was on a time crunch, so I went with the dots. I kinda liked how they turned out!
For my base color I used one of my untrieds: Color Club Glitter Envy. It took 3 coats to get this pretty opaque enough for my taste. It was really easy to apply and the glitter spread nicely. Then I used Milani Black Swift and OPI Your Royal Shine-ness to add the dots. I used my dotting tools in various sizes, larger dots toward the tips and smaller dots toward the cuticle, except on my ring finger where I did the opposite.

The photo above is after a full day of wear. No chips, but the tip wear on Glitter Envy was pretty bad, I thought. Anyway - I'm showing you this because I put Sephora by OPI Matte Top Coat on and liked it slightly better than the glossy counterpart, because the dots were more apparent. This is the first full on matte manicure I've actually worn (as opposed to just photographed for the blog) - for 3 days I wore this. If you're wondering tip wear didn't really get much worse than this.
