Flip/Flop February Day 16: Animal Print

Hey ya'll.  Today for the challenge we had to choose between Animal Print and Stripes.  Now, I love me some stripes - it's one of my favorite nails looks ever, but since I've shown you stripes before...and I had a fun idea for animal print - I decided to do that!  Here are my leopard nails!  (Sorry if the photos are redundant!)

If you can't tell - I'm in to designs over a gradient lately.  They just make them look so much more interesting and complicated with not too much effort..

For this design I first painted on two super easy coats of Ulta Peach Parfait.  The formula on this is just amazing.  It's very squishy and smooth.  I'm going to go ahead and say it's a jelly.  This polish (and also OPI On Collins Ave.) is on loan from my friend Courtney and I'm going to buy this polish based on the formula alone and how well it did with this gradient.

Then I did a gradient with Ulta Peach Parfait and OPI On Collins Ave.  This gradient was soooo gradual and smooth you gys. I loved it!  Peach Parfait is so perfect for blending.

For the leopard spots I used my dotting tools to draw random size and shape spots with Zoya Farah.  Then I used a smaller dotting tool and OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys to outline the spots and draw some other smaller brown spots.

I really really like this leopard mani!  It was hard to choose what colors I wanted to use for this!  This mani is definitely in the running for recreate your favorite day - because I only got to wear this one for about 30 minutes!

Please take a minute to go check out the other girls designs for today!!  It's a great day...animal print and stripes have so much room for creativity!

    1. Thank you! I meant to post a picture of just the gradient by itself and forgot!
